Realme C2 Review Best SmartPhone Under 6000 Rs

Realme has made a name for itself by selling smartphones equipped with powerful hardware at aggressive prices to compete with Xiaomi. The company recently launched Realme 3 Pro (Review) to compete with Redmi Note 7 Pro (Review). Now the company has launched Realme C2, the upgrade version of Realme C1 (Review). The starting price of Realme C2 is Rs 5,999. We have seen the test of Reality C2, so let us know about it in detail.

Design of realme c2

Most budget smartphones are boring to look at. Handset manufacturer companies usually do not prioritize design to keep prices low and to keep performance good. But this is not the case with Realme C2 as it is an attractive smartphone. Like other smartphones in the budget segment, the Realme C2 is made of plastic, but the finish on the back panel is unique.

Realme has used a geometric diamond-cut pattern on the back panel of the phone. You can see it on our Diamond Blue Review Unit. Patterns emerge when the back of the phone lights up, giving it a premium look. Due to the finish, fingerprints do not fall easily on the back panel.Realme has made a name for itself by selling smartphones equipped with powerful hardware at aggressive prices to compete with Xiaomi.
There are two rear cameras with single-LED flash on the back of the phone. Realme logo will be found on the bottom panel of the phone. Realme C2 has a larger display and selfie camera has got a place in Waterdrop Notch. Our review unit is already screen protector mounted. We found that due to the curved frame in Realme C2, the phone easily fits in the hand.

The power button is placed on the right side of the phone, the hand is easily reached to the button. On the other hand, the volume button is on the left side of the phone. The SIM tray is located just above the volume button.

Realme C2 has micro-USB port, loudspeaker and primary microphone at the bottom while there is nothing in the upper part of the phone. To reduce the cost of the phone, like Realme C1, the fingerprint sensor has not been provided in Realme C2. We found that the build quality of Realme C2 is good and during the review, there was no scratch on the phone.

Ralme C2 Review: Camera Performance

With this price, the 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup at the rear looks much better, while the front DU-DROP notch features a 5MP selfie camera with AI support for better selfies.

Realme C2 camera-mode

Edge detection in portrait mode can be said to be a bit hit-and-miss but it is capable of significantly blurring the background. The dynamic range is quite disappointing and due to the low contrast, the colors are not visible as well. Realme's image processing algorithms sharpen the image to improve output. We have little hope from low-light or say night-shot image output.

Overall, looking at the price of the phone, the camera performance can be said to be right because in this segment there is not much hope for the camera.

Realme C2 Review: Software and Hardware Performance

If you talk about hardware, then in Realme C2, you have been given 12nm based 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. With this, there is an option of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The device has a hybrid SIM tray in which you can use a second SIM or 256GB Micro SD.

If you look at the specification, it looks a little less, but on practical use, satisfactory performance is seen here. The most important thing is that you can also play PUBG on low-settings in this device, but if you set the graphics to a little high, then frame-drop and leg is seen.

Realme C2 Color OS

As a software, Android Pie based Color OS 6.0 is available here. If you like the stock experience or less custom features, then you will get a little less choice in custom skin.

Pre-installed applications found in the device can also be deleted. Realme has not only provided useful features like navigation gestures, display tuners, app drawers, as well as call quality and audio quality of the device is also common.

Reality C2 battery and connectivity

The phone has a 4000 mAh battery, which takes about 2 hours to be fully charged, although the battery backup is good. The phone is slightly warm during charging. If the company wishes, it can overcome it by releasing an update for it. If you use the internet throughout the day and watch some videos also, the battery will support you throughout the day. For connectivity, you get dual 4G VoLTE. Overall, Realme C2 is a great smartphone in terms of battery, camera and hardware.

Realme C2 Conclusion

With an initial price of Rs 5,999, this phone has an attractive design and better battery. This can become a better option for users who want a phone for design and battery backup. In terms of performance, it works well. For those who want to buy a phone for gaming, this phone cannot be called the best fit. In terms of display and camera, this phone disarms us.If you only want to use whatsapp , instagram, tik tok so it will be a better option for you. However, if seen overall, Realme C2 can be a good option for those users who want to use the smartphone for the first time or want to keep the phone for average use.
